PRL ’81: Propaganda & Decals
This mod replaces the various Half-Life 2 posters, decals & textures with mostly authentic ones from the Polish People’s Republic Era.
There is a chance that I will be adding more to this pack over time.
04/01/2025 – Kopalnia Wujek Update:
– Changed the Victory Mine signs in EP2
– Changed the textures of various smaller signs & billboards
– Changed the texture of the EP1 Hospital sign
– Modified the textures of TV, computers, fridges, cargo containers etc.
– Modified the textures of the intro Locomotive
– Modified the texture of the EP2 ending MI-8 helicopter
09/01/2025 – Hazard Signs Update:
– Changed the textures of possibly all warning & hazard signs
– Changed & Modified the street signs
– Added Polish license plates to some vehicles
– Modified the textures of Truck01 and Truck02 to imitate the STAR and JELCZ trucks
– Modified the White Latvia Van texture to resemble an actual Polish Latvia Ambulance
– Modified the White Volga texture to resemble a Taxi Cab from the era
– Improved the Train Schedule replacement
– Improved the Cybercafe replacement
– Improved the White Forest Inn road sign replacement, using an actual Polish road sign font
12/01/2025 – FABLOK Update
– Modified the texture of the Episode 2 Diesel Train
– Modified the textures of all train cars
– Changed the texture of the Hotel sign
– Changed the texture of the Ravenholm sign
– Modified the texture of the Payphone
– Improved the Cafe Baltic replacement
– Fixed the mirrored street signs
– Modified the texture of the Episode 1 hospital room signs
26/01/2025 – Lambda Update
– Finally Changed the Lambda Sprays
– Added Polish armbands for the rebels
– Added some more graffitis
– Modified the texture of the Explosive Barrels
– Modified the textures of the Combine Razor Train
– Modified the textures of the skybox Panel Blocks, so that they look more dull and gray, as they were at the time
– Improved the Intro Train replacement, so that it more closely resembles the SU/SP45 family of diesel trains
