Aku, Master of Darkness

Aku has arrived to join the misery. This new world seems very dangerous, even to the Master of Darkness. No time portals, shapeshifting, just your ETERNAL EVIL INTENTIONS. BAHAHA!

Hunger: 135
Health: 55
Sanity: 115

Unspeakable Evil: Everytime he lands a hit, his maximum Health increases by 0.5. He has immediate access to the Shadow Manipulator. He spawns Evil Flowers periodically.

Body made of Darkness: He takes 50% less damage from everything. He can’t equip headwears and armors. He starts with eight Nightmare Fuels.

Destroyer of Lands: If his Health bar is full, he’s able to stomp trees, boulders and structures with his feet. Each stomp restores 5 Sanity, but decreases Hunger by 20. You have to be above 30 Hunger to be able to stomp.

He has unique voice sounds from his battle theme.

2022.09.01.: Improved head asset at back view.
2022.07.22.: Big portrait updated, small changes in the assets.
V1.3.4.: You have to be above 30 Hunger to stomp.
V1.3.3.: He can wear non-armor body slot items. Destroyer of Lands perk can be disabled in the configuration menu.
V1.3.2.: The game now saves Aku’s health buffs when you load your save file as it was originally intended.
V1.3.1.: He can no longer destroy structures, just trees and rocks.
V1.3.: Minor character rework: new or reworked perks, lots of adjustable options added to the mod menu.

– Special thanks to the kind members of the Klei forum. Without their help this mod would have never been created.
– I do not own the original character (it belongs to the creators of Samurai Jack, to Adult Swim and/or Cartoon Network).
– The thumbnail background art is not my work, I’ve used a concept art image from the show.
– The talking sound is made from parts of the the Aku’s Presence track from the Samurai Jack OST.
– You may copy the codings of my mods, but I don’t allow to use my sprites in any other mod.

– More custom voice lines.

I have a good/bad habit of adding small reworks to my characters. Check out the mod’s page when you see the mod is updating. If I feel like something is out of flavour or just doesn’t make sense anymore, I try to come up with something better.
