Improve your Supply Network

Have you ever wondered why your soldiers are dying like flies in Russia, although you did pack them some winter clothes? How your entire army of brave crusaders passes through some rundown county on their way to Holy Land and looses half its numbers? Yeah, and then come mongols or chinese jokers with a doomstack of 100k troops and breezes through frozen Sybiria like it’s nothing? Yeah, that mod was done to counter that fishy tactics (and occasionally help you in other conquests as well!).

– Build supply depots! These will greatly boost your supplies (and movement speed) in the province at the expense of taxation (but we all know that taxes in provinces with low supply are just laughable).
– Expand your depots with temporary supply networks! These won’t be as effective as depots and last only for a certain amount of time, but they are less costly and might be useful for a quick military campaign in a middle of Sahara desert.

– In order to build your first supply depot, someone capable enough must oversee the whole construction. It can be your steward with 20 stewardship stats, your chinese master engineer or yourself, if you have 20 stewardship or any of the following traits: genius, quick, erudite. Once you have at least one supply depot within your realm, you can build others without any special conditions.
– Non-special conditions: must be an adult, neither greedy or incapable.

– First of all, you need to build a supply depot! It is an expensive project which will greatly boost your supply limit and movement speed in a province. It can be built anywhere, as long as there are no supply depots of networks. After giving order, you realm will be busy for 6 months, suffering decreased levy size and movement speed. You will also have to support construction with 50 ducats monthly ( 300 ducats in total + initial scaled sum).
– After 6 months have passed, you can build another supply depot.
– Alternative to depot is a temporary supply network. It gives half of depot bonuses, lasts only 2 years but costs less. It can also be built during the construction of supply depot (no need to wait 6 months). It can ONLY BE BUILT NEAR PROVINCE WHICH ALREADY HAS A SUPPLY DEPOT! Plan your development carefully.
