P-5 T&NO Class Mega Pack
Finally some great, prototypical SP Steam. This is NOT all, this is just a small percentage of something BIG. This is just a sneak peak!
The P-5 Pacific Class were made by Baldwin Locomotive Works in June of 1912. 10 were made for the Texas & New Orleans railroad, roadnumbers 600-609. Southern Pacific also had P-5s but they had some differences from the T&NO. The 600-602 was assigned to the Morgan’s Louisiana & Texas subsidiary, 603-605 went to the Louisiana Western, and 606-609 to the Texas & New Orleans. All had a great time being workhorses for the SP and T&NO until the 1950s were they were retired and scrapped. Unfortunately, none survived for preservation, marking a chapter in the history book…
