! Mini Cumberland Hump Yard !
Welcome to the first working hump yard in Rolling Line!
This is a quick revitalized version to my former "!HUMP YARD! – CSX Cumberland Yard"
This is not my typical fully detailed layout, but a small layout/large diorama
For those who don’t know, hump yards differ from the common flat yard in that classification (sorting) occurs from a small grade, or hill. The momentum of the cars carries them down through the switches, controlled by the local tower.
Simply stop a car past the first signal and decouple it to send it down the sorting tracks!

P.S.
For newcomers who like a deeper explanation:
1) Navigate your freight up onto the hill, from the Western or Eastern Approach. Typically, Wb trains arrive at the Wb approach, but I’ve made easier by providing a Wb entrance at the Eastern Approach as well (and VV).
2) Determine which cars you want to send down, and where you want them to go.
3) Set the cars past the first signal and decouple when ready
4) The railcar(s) will roll through the preset switches, with the second set of signals (one for mini-mode, two for visibility in the default mode) will indicate green when the system is ready for you to proceed with the next car
5) repeat steps 2-4!
