Scarab (Carbon) – RE2
This is a variant for the Scarab. Please see the original for more info.
By request, if you don’t need armor, this variant will lighten the body from 21 kt, down to a trim 9.3 kt. Replacing all armor blocks with Carbon composite, and trimming excess Xenosteel from behind the walls, this makes for a lighter & inexpensive Scarab.
Changes:
- +14 deg/s Torque
- Up to +44 m/s^2 additional Acceleration.
- A loss of -18,632 Shield HP (due to armor blocks).
- Mass reduction of -11.7 kt
- Production time reduction of nearly 5 hours (down to ~14).
To be clear, this is identical to the original, minus the armor and the benefits it conferred.
