Inspired by the legacy 2LW Project Altrius Maps, This is the ninth map in my "Inspired" Series!

THIS MAP IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED WITH AND IS BALANCED FOR THE 2ND LEERSOG WAR WEAPONS/SKINS PACK. REPLACING QUADBIKES WITH ANY HORSE MOD AND AA WITH ARTILLERY IS HIGHLY ADVISED FOR THE INTENDED EXPERIENCE.

“Following the collapse of the Syrvanian siege of Seyvroska, Hetland’s 1st Home Army, greatly bolstered by newly-raised divisions and imported armaments, drives quickly across Northern Leersog, throwing Syrvania’s Republican forces back to the city of Karlitz. However, limited fuel supplies, the onset of early winter storms and rapidly stiffening enemy resistance prevents Hetland from liberating the city in the initial assaults, despite superior numbers and morale.

Desperate to maintain the initiative, the Home Army begins leveling the city with indiscriminate artillery bombardments as powerful flanking forces sweep several kilometers to the north and south in a bid to cut off the Karlitz Road, thereby encircling and starving the 76,000 largely unsupplied Syrvanians into submission. With such a loss of personnel on the heels of the major defeat at Seyvroska, the Royal Hetska Military Council hopes the Republic will finally be forced into peace negotiations.

Over the course of the last 15 days, both Hettic salients have crept to within meters of each other on either side of the Karlitz Road, creating a thin corridor 9 kilometers long held by 8,000 battered, under-equipped but fiercely defiant forces of the 12th and 13th Assault Guardsman Brigades, among the most elite Syrvianian infantry units. The stage is set for the final bloody push for control of the Karlitz Road, and possibly the end of the war.”

THE MAP:

It has some cavalry, so it’s highly advised to use a horse mod for quadbikes! If not, feel free to remove the quadbikes in the vehicle tab!

Best with 300 – 400 units, default is 320, basically as many as you can get, either balanced or with moderate RAVEN advantage. 10 sec respawn recommended, Epic or Unlimited length.

Hetland (Raven) medium-sized attack map. Thick forests and rolling hills give way quickly to scarred cratered landscape, providing plenty of cover for attackers making their way toward hastily prepared trenches, dugouts and weapon emplacements. Coordinated attacks in force from both the north and south may be the only way to clear determined enemy strongpoints. Several armored cars, tanks and horses will provide support for the push.

As defenders, Syrvania (Eagle) has access to well entrenched positions along both sides of the Road, as well as a number of strongpoints containing concentrated MG or anti-tank weaponry. Holding the enemy off at range is pivotal for success, as positions become vulnerable if the opposite trenches are compromised. Unfortunately, heavy shelling has degraded defenses, often creating breaches that the enemy will try to storm.

All aircraft have been grounded due to inclement weather.
