Arkon FACTION HEROES small SHIPS

This mod is intended for the players who believe that the ships of the HEROES should be consistent with their faction’s ship designs and believe the cruiser and carrier ships are simply too big for this task.

With this mod, the heroes of the major factions uses the corresponding small attacker and supporter ship hulls of the factions instead of the tiny hero ships.

The heroes of the minor factions receive small ship designs based on the small Attacker of the ADVANCED minor factions.

The other quest heroes:
Sophons Mavro hero Krak "Cubed" Bleis uses a Sophons ship class small Attacker

Horatio hero "Five" uses a Horatio ship class small Attacker

Endless hero "Reyaryn Cious" uses a Cravers ship class small Attacker

Endless hero "Tiaych Zhilleaq" uses an advanced minor faction ship class small Defender

Rhync Raggiodri, a.k.a. The Photobomber uses an improved version of the classic Drop hero ship class.

Fluffpetal Gurk’Zvar uses the Dragon Hound, a deadly armed Raider MkII class ship.
Be warned when hunting the Pirate Leader and be prepared for a tough fight with his large and fast rogue fleet!

The Survivor (ESG Mod Vodyani hero) uses a Vodyani small Attacker class ship.

The new hero ship classes have a slightly improved core structure to match their HERO ship status.
And remember that the heroes of the opposing empires (human/AI) also use these hero ships!

This mod greatly enhances the ship designs of the pirates and minor factions.
Also the ships that are gained through purchase, explorations or quests are affected.
Thus, the pirates again represents a greater threat, especially at higher game difficulty levels.
Their original design was just too lax.
So keep an eye on your exploration ships.

"Preserve the Academy"
The Vodyani extremist fleets pose a great danger and threaten to destroy the Academy!
A real challenge for all empires …

Since this mod alters the files HeroDefinitions.xml, ShipDesignDefinitions(MinorFactions) and BattleActionDefinitions.xml, it will come to conflict with mods, which also change these files!

If you use other mods (like ESG) that also alters the files mentioned above,
put the FACTION HEROES small SHIPS mod LAST in the loading order to ensure that the correct game mechanics changes are made.
The changes in the Droplists.xml file can be safely overwritten if necessary. The resulting events are then those of the base game.

This mod should be compatible with other HERO mods, if these mods ONLY define the variables of the new hero(es) in the file "HeroDefinitions".
Of course, these new heroes will then use the original little red/white vessels.
