TheUplinkExperiment’s Owen as Odessa
So. Who is Owen?
Owen seems to be the name given to a very old facemap for Odessa Cubbage (Back before he was Odessa Cubbage), it was hand drawn (Like the faces in the original Half-Life) instead of being made from real photographs like how Valve did it later on in Half-Life 2’s development.
I thought it would be interesting to try and recreate the face and make it work with the facemap style so I did just that, made a few upscales of Odessa’s and Owen’s facemaps and cut out and resized individual pieces of the Owen texture to line up with features on Odessa’s face, I then also altered the colors on Odessa’s facemap to match better with the features from Owen’s face.
This version, for the sake of saving space, is all at HL2’s retail resolutions, for the high resolution versions, you can find them on the Gamebanana page of this mod.
