Description:

WELCOME
TO THE ELDER WIZARD 1.0!
(now fixed for the recent update so it doesn’t break)

This update, other than perhaps some polishing of bugs or spelling errors if I missed any, is the ULTIMATE version of the ELDER WIZARD EXPERIENCE

Cangelog:
-Descriptive descriptions have been added to the rituals once lacking them
-Wizards have been renamed to Undergraduate Wizards to better describe their role in the TOTAL RADICAL WIZARD LORE of this class, and to more clearly differentiate them from other Wizards
-learning rituals and promoting wizards is now only possible in libraries in order to slow down the class
-in exchange, the crucial early game Fundamental Learning ritual now costs 2 AP rather than 3

"The Elder Wizard is one of the most capable spellcasters in all of Elysium and can obliterate most mundane forces with ease. Despite this power, the Elder Wizard is quite frail and needs soldiers or summoned beings to support him in battle. Wizards are capable of two paths of magic in combat, Wizardry and High Arcana, but they still can only cast from one of these two schools each combat round. The Elder Wizard can learn almost any magic ritual in the game, but his knowledge is random, learning new rituals takes time, is only available in libraries, and he pays a 33% premium on all rituals. Apprentices cannot use rituals, but do have access to basic battle magic. Apprentices can become true wizards, but only with a lot of time and money spent in a library."

The Elder Wizard was made with the intention of playing Conquest of Elysium in a way more akin to a rogue like than usual. The class will test your knowledge of the game’s rituals and battle magic to the utmost. The Elder Wizard does not benefit from most starting defense or bonus starting resource mods because it is a modded class. The Elder Wizard was made balanced against vanilla unmodified classes, but due to the random nature of the class it may not be entirely "fair" in multiplayer. The rituals the Elder Wizard has access to are mostly rituals from human nonreligious mage classes and anything else I arbitrarily decided was on theme.
