What started out as a concept car by Ford in the 2000s turned out into a fully-fledged sports car that carried a legendary name during the 1960s. Like its elder, it is a mid-engined sports car powered by a V8 engine, this time it’s 5.4 L (supercharged) in displacement, in addition to its longer wheelbase and wider profile. The Ford GT is originally built to commemorate Ford’s 100th anniversary and would go on to sell 4,000 units within 2 years of production.
