Orang 2.0 (Rebalanced and Redone)
Orang rebalanced and redone. After a year of it being out, I decided to remake Meme Man’s rival. Orang is now more boss like than before, and is unphased by mortal attacks. Orang is also still animated in stock photos, as per tradition. While it might not seem at first, this character is rather balanced, and has counterplay.
EVERY CHANGE:
Fundamental:
-Orang is unphased by attacks by mortals. Any standard attack done to him deals no knockback (standard being less than 14 base knockback).
-Orang also doesn’t have any knockback scaling.
-Orang is know floatier and has jump height.
-All projectiles shot by orang can be knocked out of the air with any attack.
-Upon reaching 50 damage, he instantly dies (and a nice jingle plays 🙂 )
-Most moves now have more endlag.
-New Sound Effects
Forward Special: No longer does damage, but has no lag. Move is on a 1 and a half second cd.
Neutral Special: Less range, Freezes opponents forever. More endlag
Down Special: Makes 4 Vegitals around orang, these stay permanently still unless swatted by an attack. Enemies who run into these Vegitals cannot do anything until they touch the ground. Has a 9 second cd.
Up Smash: Shoots 3 projectiles in a shotgun pattern instead of 1.
Down Smash: Projectile is faster, scales better, has less base knockback, and no longer spikes.
Forward air: Slower but more knockback
Neutral air: Larger hitbox
Back air: Hitbox moved
+ Numerous bug fixes
Also, never trust Orang.
