Description:

India has mobilised amphibious assault forces and has deployed the INS Viraat carrier group to the Gulf of Mannar. Sri Lanka fears that an Indian military buildup is preparation for a military invasion intended to collapse the local government. The United Nations has requested that a US carrier group be sent to the area to stabilise the region. Your forces are to transit to the southwest coast of Sri Lanka to pressure India to withdraw their forces.

A not-so-faithful recreation of the first campaign mission from Jane’s Fleet Command, Bay Of Bengal.

KNOWN DISCREPANCIES:
Indian Godavari frigates are represented by Leanders as there is currently no mod for the former.

Various US and Soviet amphibious ships represent their Indian counterparts as there is currently no mod for the latter.

The Theodore Roosevelt’s air group inherits the normal airgroup for a Nimitz from the New Threat Upgrade mod as there are currently no F/A-18C mods.
