Entrenched Opposition – Co-op as PALA
The complete occupation and control of the Ignus Archipelago is high priority for both the PALA, and the BDF. The BDF have been aggressively funding airbase and defense platform construction in the area to both secure their claims and ease logistical burdens. During a period of significantly heightened tensions amid an ongoing ceasefire, a PALA VL-49 transport was shot down by a BDF pilot who mis-identified the craft as past the much disputed control line for the archipelago, resulting in all out warfare across the island chain.
This mission is a modified variant of Terminal Control, tweaked for co-op and heavily edited in terms of additional airbases and platforms. You start at rank 3, with $150m starting funds. The platform and long-range SAM placement is favorable for the BDF, so this mission will be rather difficult without SEAD/DEAD coordination.
