Airborne Insertion
A fire support and troop delivery mission designed around the Ibis helicopter. Roughly 45 minute long Singleplayer mission, 2-4 player co-op compatible.
Recommended that one plays through in singleplayer first; mission briefing text boxes do not appear properly (?) in multiplayer.
Retake the territory surrounding Sandrift airbase Via heliborne assault. Sling load vehicles to the objective, loiter around the landing site with orbiting fire support, and deliver yet more units to guard against enemy air retaliation.
Fun fact: 90% of this mission was designed before the Ibis and UGV units were in-game, and no tester branches were used to bypass this.
