– Breakthrough tech discovered: Alien Imprints, Extractor AI, Superconducting Computing, Artificial Muscles, Forever Young, Sustained Workload, Multispiral Architecture, Cloning, The Positronic Brain, Core Metals, Core Rare Metals, Vector Pump, Frictionless Composites, Hypersensitive Photovoltaics, Core Water, Giant Crops, Autonomous Hubs, Wireless Power, Prefab Compression, Autonomous Hubs, Superior Cables, Superior Pipes
I updated it with more breakthrough tech that I find useful and added the same commander profile with higher difficulty for those who want more of a challenge. Some tech is provided but considered optional. For example the superior pipes and cables and also the autonomous hubs. Those are further down the tech tree and require more research. I felt it was more balanced that way.
I didnt like the randomness of how breakthroughs are given because some are great and others not so much. This commander profile makes breakthroughs more like its own tech tree. These techs are used as a foundation. You can still find other breakthrough tech while on the mission just know they will have a high research cost and that cost will grow as you find more.
Might change the order of Alien Imprints. At first it was at the end but now it is at the start. Going to do a playthrough and see how I feel about it.
Must start a new mission for changes to work!
Made this for myself but wanted to share for others that have a similar preference.
I took inspiration from the mod A.I. Engineer by Makto but added my own twist.
