L’Iveco Cityclass (491) è un modello di autobus a pianale ribassato, prodotto in versione normale o autosnodato per le varie amministrazioni comunali Italiane; è stato concepito principalmente per sostituire gli iveco turbocity.
Le versioni cui hanno seguito ordinazioni sono quelle a 10 e 12 metri per le versioni comuni; la versione autosnodata è lunga 18 metri.
Le motorizzazioni diesel prevedono potenze di 270 o 290 cv (350 per gli autosnodati); la versione a gas naturale compresso (metano) sviluppa circa 240 cv.
Sono state prodotte circa 7000 unità di questo veicolo; i principali acquirenti sono stati ATAC (Roma) ed ATM (Milano).
Nella presente mod è disponibile la versione a 12 metri e l’autosnodato da 18 metri, entrambi a gas.

The Iveco Cityclass (491) is a low-floor bus model, produced in the normal or articulated version for many Italian municipal administrations; it was mainly designed to replace the older iveco turbocity bus.
The versions acquired by those administrations were on 10 and 12 meters for the common versions; the articulated version is 18 meters long.
The diesel engines provide powers of 270 or 290 hp (350 for articulated buses); the compressed natural gas (methane) version develops around 240 HP.
Approximately 7000 units of this vehicle were produced; the main buyers were ATAC (Rome) and ATM (Milan).
The 12 meters and 18 meters gas versions are available in this mod.
