Republic of China (Taiwan) Navy
This mod adds kitbashes of modern Republic of China Navy vessels and submarines, including:
– Kee Lung (ex-Kidd) DDG: Upgraded SAMs to SM-2MRs
– Kang Ding (Lafayette) FFG (2026): Upgraded to Artisan 3D radars and TC-2 SAM in VLS launchers.
– Kang Ding (Lafayette) FFG (2016): Uses the old Chaparral SAM launchers.
– Cheng Kung (ex-Oliver Hazard Perry) FFG: Upgraded with HF-2, HF-3 launchers and 40mm Bofors.
– Chi Yang (ex-Knox) class FFG: Upgraded with 10 SM-1MR box launchers, Mk15 CIWS, and ECM.
– Yang (ex-Gearing) class DD: Upgraded with 10 SM-1MR box launchers, ASROC launcher, and asymmetric quad HF-2 SSM launcher, 40mm bofors, 76mm Oto-Melara gun, and Mk15 CIWS.
– Hai Kun SSK: ROCN’s latest indigenous diesel electric submarines
– Hai Lung (Zwaardvis) SSK: Zwaardvis class diesel submarines acquired by ROCN in the 1980s.
– MD500: Updated with ROC livery.
Planned updates:
– Animated VLS hatches for improved Kang Ding.
– Tuo Chiang class corvettes
– Need update some of the sensors as they mostly use the legacy American ones for now.
Known issues:
– The MD500 texture is mirrored from one side to the other so the text on the starboard side is backwards. Looking into how to fix this.
