Description:
Arma 2: Private Military Company

One year after British and coalition armed forces successfully quelled the insurgent uprising in Takistan, the NATO Green Sea deployment is in the process of a strategic drawdown of its combat troops in the region.

Private military contractors shoulder the burden of the increased workload, with competition rising between the multinational organisations for lucrative security contracts.

Private Military Company, ION, Inc. (formerly Black Element), successfully bid for a contract – codenamed Black Gauntletto provide security for a UN investigation team as they seek to piece together information regarding Takistan’s abandoned nuclear weapons program.

Remake of the first mission of ArmA 2’s Private Military Company DLC

This is a remake of the first mission in the Private Military Company DLC from ArmA 2 released originally 15 years ago and counting.

Features:

  • Almost a 1 to 1 recreation of the original mission, but with my own vision in terms of enemy count, which is double it and give it to the next person, where you’d fight 4 or 6 enemies, you’ll now be fighting double the amount.
  • A handfull of points of interest/easter eggs.
  • Includes both intro video and outro video cutscenes.

!!!Warning!!!

-Do not play this mission with any gameplay impacting mods such as ACE or any AI mod like LAMBs.
Atleast one of the voice lines is likely to bug out, it does not impact gameplay and the mission continues as normal, I don’t know what causes it, but hopefully it won’t occur for future missions whenever I learn how to use the conversation system that ArmA 3 has.

Creator’s Notes:
Had a lot of fun making this, spent around a week total learning new things, figuring out what I wanted to do, creating scripts, et cetera.
I swear I spent more time on the cutscenes and scripting than building the actual AO.
I intend to recreate the whole campaign as an actual campaign to include the persistent SUV weapon stash like in the original, but I haven’t wrapped my head around how to link the missions to create a campaign yet.
