Description:

Improved bots, helper functions and some other fancy stuff for survival. This mutation is made for single player but can be played with friends too. Some notes worth reading before playing or asking anything:

Bot improvements:
– Forced to use specific weapons.
– Don’t pick up any health items or switch to another primary weapon.
– Encouraged to heal themselves instead of dying with their med kits.
– Improved aiming.
– Improved reaction times.
– Improved awareness.
– Increased attack range.
– Don’t get beaten up by surrounding commons that easily.
– Never run out of ammo. Used to be a problem with vanilla bots after 13mins because they don’t refill when there is a tank in play.

Other features:
– HUD kill counter and average SI kills per minute calculator.
– Some event vocalizations (ie. survivors laugh at boomer explosion. Consider using "Omgot’s Surprise Boomer" addon to maximize the lulz).
– Chat triggers to speed up round preparation. Type !help in the chat to see available commands.
– The chat commands have some restrictions to keep the game fair (ie. item moving disabled after round has started, can’t use !laser on maps where you can’t normally have laser sights etc..).

Problems:
– Higher bot update rate causes lower FPS especially on low-end rigs.
– HUD kill counter is server-sided. If one player does !hidestats, the counter will disappear for other players too. Not a problem in single player, though.
– HUD kill counter may not display properly on low screen resolutions (ie. 800×600).

General problems with survivor bots (vanilla and all mods that I’m aware of):
– Bots don’t consider jockeys as a major threat. Human player(s) should prioritise on jockeys.
– Bots try to help jockeyed team mates by shoving which makes them run after the jockey like idiots instead of just shooting the damn jockey.
– Bots keep shooting at tank corpses instead of switching to another target immediately.
– Bots can’t use throwable items (thank god.. so not really a problem!).
– Bots are too slow for lapping tactics.
– Bots can’t use defibs.
– Bots DO randomly crouch+shoot (ie. Nick on the video at 1:50) but not on regular basis.
– Bots can’t dodge tank rocks or evade chargers. They are also really bad at deadstopping hunters/jockeys.
– They are just bots. Camping in one group is the only tactic they can successfully execute. Don’t set too high expectations for any AI system.
