1861- American Civil War
I modified my old 1850 scenario for the American Civil War. I recommend playing with "Call Puppet States to War" turned off.
Changes include (Note that I might have missed some)
North America
-Union’s territories are represented as vassals, such as the Washington, Dakota, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Nebraska, Indian, and New Mexico territory.
-USA lacks cores on the border states of Missouri, Kentucky, and Maryland.
-CSA has cores on the New Mexico Territory, Indian Territory, Missouri, Kentucky, and Maryland
-CSA owns West Virginia, but it’s not cored
-All states have their respective cores
-Mexico has cores on the Mexican Cession (Southwest US)
-Yucatan Republic has cores in Mexico
-Dominican Republic/Santo Domingo is a vassal of Spain
-British Colombia has cores on Washington, Idaho, and Oregon (Oregon Territory)
-For fun, added some diplomatic relations for the Union and Confederates. US is friendly with Russia, Ottomans, Prussia, while CSA is friendly-ish with the UK, France, and Austria.
South/Central America
-Panama has cores in Colombia
-Paraguay has cores on Chaco region in Bolivia
Europe
-Moldavia annexes Southern Bessarabia as a result of the Crimean War
-Italy is formed, with each of the former Italian states having cores on their territory
-Italy has claims on Austrian Venice and Istria and parts of Southern Tyrol, as well as French Savoy
-A lot of cores in Eastern and Central Europe
-Austria is united, but lacks cores on Hungarian and Venetian territory
-German Confederation from 1850 scenario is still a thing
Africa/Middle East
-France annexes Algeria and Dakar, but both regions are unstable
-A lot of cores in the Ottoman Empire
-Shammar is a vassal of the Ottomans instead of Nejd
Asia/India
-British Raj Expands towards Afghanistan
-Afghanistan has cores on a bit of border territory
-Taiping Revolt exists in China (I forgot them in the last scenario)
