Makeshift Fire Extinguisher RPG Warhead
In December 2022, imagery from the battle area around Bakhmut showed a striking improvised munition — an RPG warhead built from the body of a small powder fire extinguisher. These rounds have been linked with fighters of the Sheikh Mansur Battalion, a Chechen volunteer formation that fights on Ukrainian side since 2014. In close-quarters urban fighting this crude improvisation emerged as a notable frontline tool.
