Once the foremost power in the middle east and the world, multiple campaigns against this once great state have reduced it to a weak nation hugging the banks of the tigris and euphrates for relief from the harsh desert climate.
Can you restore Iraq to it’s former place as a global superpower?
Small areas of arable land follow the course of the two rivers towards the shatt al-arab delta, emptying out into the persian gulf. Oil is abundant, however all other resources are sparse.
Bauxite and uranium are located towards the border with jordan, iron is toward iran in the zagros mountains and coal is entirely absent, resouce distribution is 100% accurate and along with the heightmap and tree cover was pieced together from multiple surveying reports of the country before the war.
Map is densely populated with several major cities interspersed with smaller villages, shouldn’t be overly challenging however the distance of certain resources and the limited number of border crossings may make this map more difficult for the unintiated.
