Say hello to A.E.O.N.A., the Archive Encyclopedia Operating Network Assistant (or Archive Network Assistant for short). You were chosen by the Protectorate (or fate) to have your very own Assistant to help with your studies, and just in general. Science, mathematics, engineering, history, archaeology, the Archive Encyclopedia Operating Network is expansive, and she can help you navigate it with ease. Anything is at your fingertips!

Though don’t expect her to do everything, despite her connecttion, she must learn in real time. To assist with this, your Matter Manipulator has been connected to her to allow for insights from scanned objects. She can also read codices and grant you more context from them! Note: Hazardous environments may compromise her, she has feelings, be careful.

This mod replaces every SAIL unit, modded is also included. There’s nothing you can’t do with this one mod.

Please note that these models of AEONA contain a personality matrix for your own engagement with your classes, emotional outbursts and often not sharing of information is likely to occur. Do not worry though, she’s just looking out for you, and you’re smart, you’ll figure it out.

  • A rewrite of all vanilla (and modded, see below) SAIL dialogue. Tutorials, missions, and everything else you could possibly imagine.
  • Her personality matrix is much more complex than a normal SAIL unit, allowing for a wider range of emotions than normal, with plenty of animations.
  • 175 completely new dialogue lines for scanning or picking up specific objects of interest, along with some insights on ores.
  • 133 new dialogue lines for picking up codices surrounding the galaxy, almost every single one has insights from her!
  • A larger message box to allow for longer messages.
  • Humor, may or may not be funny. She was not trained for it.

Let me know if you have any suggestions or bugs to report. I know a mod such as this one can be a massive undertaking with the crazy amount of mods on the market, so I will try to keep up, at the very least with NEKI.

No, I don’t think I’m gonna add support to allow NEKI and AVIAN to overlap. Most I’ve attempted to do is to allow you to overwrite this one with NEKI/AVIAN, which will still allow for the unique scan dialogue but AEONA won’t be your SAIL. Ask Tux about it if you’re that interested.
