After downloading this mod, please disable all other mods in the Workshop Center. Restart the game and begin a new story to ensure the mod takes effect.
In this mod, the following four combinations feature unique timelines and radio broadcasts: Pavle/Bruno/Katia, Pavle/Marko/Bruno, Roman/Arica/Bruno, and Anton/Cveta. Among these, Anton/Cveta starts with cheat-supplied resources, and Roman joins shortly after the beginning, making this combination significantly easier than the other three. If the mod feels too brutal for you, why not try this group? Other combinations have not been tested but should work fine for normal gameplay.
This mod supports only Chinese and English. Most of the English content was completed with the help of translation and has not been tested. Due to limited time and energy, perfection is hard to achieve, so please bear with any shortcomings.
The mod adds over 50 new items, 10 different firearms, a brand-new electricity and learning system, and revamps most of the in-game resources, prices, crafting, and combat systems. Food is scarcer, winters are longer, and night raids are deadlier. As time progresses, you will encounter four deadly nighttime riots. Fortunately, the radio will always give you a warning. Make sure to build a radio as quickly as possible, and once you receive the warning, gather all available forces to defend! Ignoring any of these riots could prove fatal. If the original game has lost its freshness and challenge for you, why not give this mod a try? You’re sure to rediscover the excitement of playing This War of Mine for the first time.
This mod was largely completed about three years ago. At that time, the Russia-Ukraine war had just broken out, so it carries many traces of that era. Who could have imagined that, nearly three years later, the war still hasn’t ended? If the world were as simple as it is in the game, how could wars drag on endlessly, and how could hatred persist without end?
