Better missiles
You saw the thumbnail.
Have you ever thought to yourself, damn. I wish the game where space starts 1.5km from sea level needs to have more realistic missiles? Fear no more, after some head-slamming and hair-pulling Goose Inc™ presents "Better missiles". With this mod missiles are now epic and realistic. Balanced? No. Lmao. Absolutely not it breaks every missile build in the game.
Quick TL:DR for those that doesnt want to go through the bullet points, missiles now go very very fast and very very far.
On a completely serious note
Here is a list of everything the mod changes
General:
- Increased the theoretical max speed of a variable thruster missile from 400m/s to 10000m/s (note that 700-1500 is more realistic at default settings)
- Reduced missile hp to 3/4
- Increased turn rate by 2 times
- Increased missile detection range by 10 times (for CIWS, no more stealth for missiles lol)
- Increased the fuel carried by missile 3 times
Remote Guidance:
- GPP cost reduced to 1/3
- Error reduced by half
- Stability error removed completely
Miscellaneous:
- Turning thruster now consume no fuel, however is now only 40% as strong
- Short range thruster now consume no fuel, providing only slight thrust; renamed to solid rocket booster
- Missile interceptors now require direct hit to damage missile/cram
- Spamming decoy now work bit better than vanilla
