CUP|ALiVE – 2023 Counteroffensive
ALiVE CoOp Mission originally made for RebsOldSkool server.
In June 2023, Ukrainian forces gradually launched a series of counteroffensives on multiple fronts but faced stiff resistance from Russia. The American think tank Institute for the Study of War called the Russian defensive effort as having "an uncharacteristic degree of coherency." By June 12th, Ukraine reported its fastest advance in seven months, claiming to have liberated several villages and advanced a total of 6.5 km.
Mission Features/Gameplay:
– 6 headless client slots
– 20 playable Blufor/Opfor
– 3 hour day cycle
– Random start time
– Random weather system
– Unlimited player/vehicle respawns
– Sorted ACE arsenals at respawn points
– All arsenal weapons/gear limited to CUP/CSW content for consistency
– Ambient war soundscape
– Increased player weapon sway and recoil/modified AI accuracy for more sustained/realistic firefights
– Script-controlled garbage collector
– PIR/ACE medical compatibility
– TFAR Compatibility
– Player hearing detection by AI reduced to be more realistic
– Unique player classes
– ACE survival, ballistics, etc.
– Virtual AI speed and combat adjusted to fit virtualized pace
– AI group recruitment stations at respawns/arsenals
– AI artillery & CAS
– Arsenal compatibility for FPV CROCUS, FPV AR-2, and Switchblade Loitering Munition
Players roles have unique benefits to aid team gameplay:
Team Leader – Can call ALiVE support
Medic/Corpsman – PIR, downed friendly indicators on, increased revive speed
Engineer – Can repair, is EOD
Machinegunner – 40% load stamina bonus
Scout – 20% stealth bonus
While this mission can be played without a server, having one to handle the performance load of ALiVE is highly advised. This mission is benchmarked for use on a server.
