Description:

Updated version of the POI megapack from Mack Gideon.
Fortunately, original mod author gave his permission in one of his mods comment to update his mods because he doesn’t play the game anymore, allowing me to share this instead of just using for myself.

While the original mod still works with latest game release without any issue, it seems author didn’t push the concept till the end and set the production for each POI if you controlled them.
So, each new POI controlled by players would give an insignificant 1 wood.
I changed that and customized each of the 70 new POI to provide ressources following a few rules :
1) Vanilla balance friendly
2) makes sense according to POI
3) Some are clear upgrades of others, since for example an ocean would provide more water than a swimming pool. (not that those poi exist here XD)
4) recalling and switching to other POI as game progress and your needs too is much more beneficial

I also reworked vanilla POI which didn’t make any sense. For example, hospital would give antibio and surgical kit instead of antibio and purified water.
Another example are the farms. Instead of 20 specialized food ressources, they give 8, but also 2 of the same product seed. This allows more use early game to set up production. Also new farms appear.

If you wish to see every details I changed, i included an open doc of the changes in the mod folder. Plenty of indication on how to find a workshop mod on internet. but honestly just generating a new game and map will show you all of them anyway.

Mod was only tested in story mode so far since that’s what i play curerntly.
I’m not a modder at base, it’s just that those changes were easy to make. but it seems to work without issues in my game.
Also i do not intend to see if i can make it work with outpost rebalance mod which adds a currency system to trade. I vastly prefer vanilla concept, which makes much more sense to me.
