Description:

A fully configurable filter for items, trinkets, cards and pills. Its interface can be shown by pressing the backslash key and closed by pressing Enter or pausing the game. A new run has to be started to apply any changes. Banned entities will be removed from the pool; if the player starts with a banned item or trinket, it will be randomly re-rolled.

Note that updating a mod removes its save data, and I cannot prevent it. You can back up your settings by copying save.dat files from ..Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ ModsItem Pool Filter to a different folder.

Settings

When the menu is opened, global settings are shown by default. The final tab can be used to create separate lists of banned entities for any character.

  • Left-click on a character name to move it to a different list. Global settings apply to all characters on the left, and all characters on the right use their own settings exclusively.
  • Right-click on a name to select or deselect it. Switching back to the previous tabs will let you edit settings for the selected character.

Commands
  • Change or remove the menu key binding:
ipf setkey [a character or an empty string]
  • Clear saved filter settings:
    ipf clear

Compatibility

A modded character can be added to the final tab if it is opened while playing as that character. Filter settings for modded items may become out of order every time more modded items are installed.
