The Tempest Rangers and Emiliya Orlov [Kislev Faction for IEE]

Emiliya Orlov is the Commander of the Tempest Rangers, an arm of the Ice Court which focuses on harnessing Tempest and Ice magic in order to empower all aspects of one’s martial capabilities and prowess in frontline engagements.
The Tempest Rangers’ mission is to venture beyond the provinces under Kislev control, to take the fight directly to the Forces of Chaos in the Chaos Wastes. They track the movements of Chaos, and engage their armies when the time is right. Ultimately they seek to keep the Forces of Chaos out of Kislev.
This mod converts the minor faction Rota of the Dawn from ChaosRobie’s IEE into a new major faction the Tempest Rangers. They are led by the new Legendary Lord – Commander Emiliya Orlov. This is not based on anything already existing in lore.

Emiliya Orlov has mastered the art of empowering oneself with Tempest and Ice magic, the winds flow through her as effortlessly as breathing. When in an area with copious Winds of Magic, she becomes like an unstoppable Blizzard crashing through enemy ranks.

Emiliya and the rangers have several abilities with tradeoffs that you will want to change depending on the immediate situation the unit is in, and they all require a minimum amount of winds of magic available in the pool to be active. The armor ones can’t be turned off except by having less than the minimum winds in your pool, fire hurts.

The Commander’s signature helmet was originally worn by a Chaos Chosen of Tzeentch, the first she killed in combat. Since then she has made it her own – portraying her mastery over Ice magic and becoming a fearsome sight on the battlefield for those who would oppose her.

The start location is in the Chaos Wastes, an area added by ChaosRobie’s Immortal Empires Expanded (required).
These are my recommended IEE faction start location swaps when playing as Tempest Rangers, some of these are important since they are Victory Condition targets. Getting more Major Factions in the area is nice so it isn’t mostly a bunch of minor factions.

SCM’s LCCP, 16 new factions for IEE! – Compatible
Among other things LCCP converts the Tokmars minor faction (starts at war with Tempest Rangers) into a major faction with a new playable Legendary Lord. I have implemented checks to see if LCCP is installed and at campaign start adjusts accordingly. With LCCP installed if you play Tempest Rangers, you will be up against Tokmars lead by their new LL at the start.
I provide an SFO Grimhammer patch as that is how I play the game so naturally I need it balanced for my own play, if anyone wants to make a patch for any other overhaul I will link it here if provided.
