The Leopard 2A6 is a German third-generation main battle tank developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, featuring significant upgrades over its predecessors. It is equipped with a longer 120 mm Rheinmetall L/55 smoothbore gun, enhancing firepower and accuracy. The tank’s advanced composite armor, comprising high-hardness steel, tungsten, plastic filler, and ceramic components, offers superior protection against various threats. Powered by a 1,500 hp MTU MB 873 Ka-501 V12 diesel engine, the Leopard 2A6 achieves speeds up to 70 km/h and has an operational range of approximately 340 km on roads. With a crew of four, it incorporates modern fire control systems and thermal imaging, ensuring effectiveness in diverse combat scenarios. this particular 2A6 mod is donned in ukrainian digital camo and markings, with added functional ERA and slat armor.
