About The Mod

This mod adds new bolt shells to the game. It is not intended to used on its own, rather as a dependency for other mods.
At release, the mod will include the following bolt shells:

Features
  • 8 new bolt shells, with more to come.
  • Custom ammo models
  • Custom cartridge models
  • Custom explosion effects
  • Mod Settings (CBA): Tweak settings to your liking.

What are the types included?

Based on settings, it will damage a vehicle’s engine by a certain amount. No custom model yet.

During flight, the bullet will spawn lightning bolts. On hit, more lightning bolts will spawn. No custom model yet.

Powerful armour-piercing rounds. The deuterium core is replaced by a solid adamantine core and uses a heavier main charge. Upon impact, the outer casing peels away and the high velocity adamantium needle accelerates into the victim, where the larger detonator propels shards of super hardened metal further into the wound. These are effective against heavily-armoured infantry.


Increased damage and penetration. Useful against armored infantry or light vehicles.

Based on settings, it will push people or vehicles, or both. Ragdoll will also be applied to targets, based on settings. No custom model yet.

Utilise an unstable flux technology which makes them slightly hazardous to use but makes them very good against armoured targets. In fact, they were originally developed to combat Traitor Marines.

Standard bolt round, with a few minor changes to vfx.

Other types are already in config, but haven’t been finalized yet. They may lack custom models and/or effects.

That’s great and all, but I don’t like what you did with X and Y.

You can edit the settings via CBA settings menu!. Failing that, you can create new rounds inheriting from these and config them to your liking.
