Description:

"Serjilla used to be a remote Ermorian outpost near Pythium. When Ermor fell Serjilla declared itself independent, using it’s legions to keep out both the few undead that wandered that far and the other successor states. The lands originally where populated by Ophians who rose up against the Pantokrator whom they claimed was a false god. Having the aid of a greater power the Pantokrator was unable to destroy them however they were able to command the Waters of Forgetfulness and blanket the land in a dense fog. The Ophians forgot their past, blending in with the humans who dwelled in their lands.

Now with the disappearance of the Pantokrator souls have begun to awaken and remember the truth. Ophians have re-establish themselves as teachers of ignorant humanity. They’ve been embraced by the Serjillan nobility to save their souls on death.

Serjilla wishes to spread the truth to all corners of the world and banish the lies of the Pantokrator to the shadows where they belong. Their people will ascend their physical prisons on death should they’ve acquired sufficient truth about creation. With the ultimate goal of fracturing this prison of souls and return all to the true divinity that rules even over Pantokrator."

Serjilla came about while reading up on some Gnostic ideas. It primarily draws from the concepts of the Serpent from the Garden of Eden being an equal teacher to Christ and the idea that part of divinity is trapped within the creation of the demiurge.

The goal is to enlighten your soldiers enough so you can kill both sides of the battle and come out ahead with angelic warriors till you reach the point a throne rush makes sense as you destroy what you can’t take with your Ousias.

Culturally the nation is a mix of Pythian and Na’banean influences mixed into something Palmyran.
