DEFCON prologue
Taiwan. It is one of the many disputed territories around the world. For a long time, the island positioned itself as an independent state, which China did not agree with, considering the island a part of itself. The course of history in which the USSR and the People’s Republic of China became close diplomatic partners. The issue of China’s accession to the Warsaw Pact was raised. The first step for this was to provide assistance in restoring order on the island of Taiwan.
Тайвань. Одна из многочисленных территорий во всем мире являющейся спорной территорией. Долгое время остров позиционировал себя как независимое государство, с чем не был согласен Китай, считавший остров частью себя. Ход истории в котором СССР и Китайская Народная Республика стали близкими дипломатическими партнерами. Был поднят вопрос о вступлении КНР в Варшавский договор. Первым шагом для этого было решено оказать помощь в наведении порядка на острове Тайвань.
