SpottedMarkers

Helps you spot those hard-to-see enemies! Even the fight against the X-Ray vision AI, while being balanced, immersive, and customizable.

Overview

Inspired by Across The Fence, SpottedMarkers is a mod that displays soundwave indicators around enemy units.
*Prairie Fire DLC not required
**Compatibility with the Across The Fence game-mode

Key Features

Visual Enemy Detection

• Animated Soundwaves: Noticable, but immersive soundwaves around detected enemies
• Color-Coded States: White soundwaves for passive enemies, red flashes when enemies fire
• Distance-Based Scaling: Icons automatically adjust size based on distance
• Smooth Animations: Configurable wave speed, fade timing, and size parameters

Focus Mode (Optional)

• Enhanced Awareness: Toggle a focus mode that activates when stationary, similar to ATF
• Visual Feedback: Optional screen desaturation effect to indicate focus state
• Smart Activation: Optionally automatically engages after a configurable delay when standing still
• Shot Detection Override: Red shot markers can appear even when not in focus mode

Fully Customizable (CBA Settings)

Detection Ranges

• Soundwave distance (50-500m, default: 150m)
• Shot detection distance (50-500m, default: 250m)
• Target-only mode (show markers only for spotted units)

Visual Effects

• Shot flash duration (0.5-10s, default: 2s)
• Customizable RGB colors for normal and shot soundwaves
• Independent alpha/opacity controls

Animation Parameters

• Wave expansion speed
• Icon base size
• Fade time coefficient
• Separate scale multipliers for near/distant soundwaves

Focus Mode Settings

• Enable/disable focus mode
• Focus activation delay
• Optional desaturation visual effect
• Shot markers can bypass focus requirement

Special Integration

• "Across The Fence" mission detection with dedicated toggle controls, to retain compatibility without having to modify your settings each time

For Performance

• Reduce both detection ranges
• Use target-only mode to limit tracking to spotted enemies
