Description:

2nd mission is now available here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3372114677

On February 25th, 1986, the Venezuelan People’s Republic launched a surprise military offensive against the Kingdom of the Netherlands, invading the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao) in the Caribbean. Despite not being a member of the Warsaw Pact, Venezuela is a key Soviet ally with a modernized and highly capable military force. The Netherlands, under the protection of NATO, has issued an ultimatum demanding Venezuela’s withdrawal from the islands by March 4th, but Caracas has shown no intention of complying.

As the commander of a NATO Carrier Strike Group, you are tasked with intercepting a heavily armed Venezuelan convoy carrying critical military assets—such as surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs), armored vehicles, and supplies—that could be used to further fortify the Venezuelan hold on the ABC Islands. With tensions escalating and the deadline fast approaching, your mission is to neutralize this convoy and prevent it from reaching the islands, while preparing for the inevitable confrontation that could reshape the balance of power in the Caribbean.

In the event the mission ends trigger doesn’t work, you complete the mission once you destroy all the LST’s.
Because the Venezuelan flag is not in the game they will be represented by the Myanmar flag.

There will be more missions to continue the operation. This is my first custom mission for Sea Power, if you play it please give me some feedback. This game is still new so I’d like to see what you guys think regarding the pacing and scale of the battle. I will go back and update this scenario based on the feedback I get. Thank you for reading and enjoy!
