Doubledown: Scholar of the First Sin
Unofficial-semi official patch of Doubledown that implements radical changes to his gameplay to make him more competitively viable while nerfing some of his more unfair qualities.
STYLE SUPPORT NOW ADDED!
Extra Color 1 controls the color of cards (the red in particular), including blue particles. The color that normally corresponds to blue will be shifted towards a contrasting color of the color you picked.
Extra Color 2 controls the color of coins and yellow particles
Dash IASA at 10f
Readded multicard.
Taunt is now a regular Hustle.
0f movement added back to some moves in combo only (Risk is the big one).
DI modifier on normals increased to 1.0
DI modifier on specials increased but not as severely
Touching a coin in neutral will interrupt your opponent as well
Coins and card bounces will be affected by DI wheel similar to cowboy bullets or sunshower umbrellas
Infinite particle issue fixed
Coin cancel escape now instead scales the opponents combo and is delayed by 16 frames.
Risk doesn’t take an air option in combo
The High Court Armor put to frame 3 minimum, only works on initiative for the armor. Opponent gets put into 10f hitstun if they attack DD with armor (mostly just a change to get it to actually work as a good reversal).
Blue Card doesnt get eaten on block or hit, meaning it can be bounced back into the opponent afterwards
DD now has a sweep move similar (read: exactly the same) as Mutant on the ground, name change pending
Stomp is frame 7, far sharper downward momentum
Roulette launches on block, IASA HIGHLY increased on block if not coin cancelled
Lowered friction (again)
Cards are +1, Blue cards are +2, regular cards are still parriable.
Cards now bounce on walls instead of gliding across them. This refreshes their hitbox
High Court can now be blown up with a coin.
High Court now acts like Flame Wave and is unparriable and multi hits
Penny Drop is now unparriable and hits opponents twice on block, does not get consumed on block
Adjusted how coin cancels work internally for hopefully more consistency
High Card is Frame 5, High Card is now +1
Nerfed Blue Card damage (it was too evil)
Double Cross: First hitbox is now frame 5. First hitbox does less damage, second hitbox does more damage.

Blocking Risk now gives back air options (allows for chaining roulette in a blockstring)
Grab now is interruptible by coin cancel, provided that it would not cause a softlock (meaning, not during a throw)
Clockwise and Stomp no longer land cancel prematurely, heavily increased landing frames
Risk landing frames heavily increased
