Super Refineries
This is part of a series of mods I’ve made to help with AI management for resource production and storage buildings in Kenshi. I’ve found that the AI can run into issues moving material into and out of resource production buildings and by increasing the amount of internal storage, fewer dedicated storage buildings are required, which streamlines the AI pathing and logic.
Super Refineries adds upgrades for Iron and Steel Bar refineries called Iron Refinery V and Steel Refinery IV respectively. The upgrades allows the refineries to storage 100 input material and 50 output material. This doesn’t change anything else about the refineries so production rate, power use, and input:output ratio remains the same. The upgraded refineries are unlocked with two new Level 6 research options to costs 1 AI core each.
Both the research and the refinery building menus are a continuation of the existing research and building paths so they fit in seamlessly to the existing Kenshi experience.
