TWR WSC-95
TWR Porsche WSC-95
In 1994, Porsche commissioned Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) to build a sports prototype running under the WSC regulations, which in turn is based on the latter’s Jaguar XJR-14. While not a works effort, the WSC-95 is approved by the German manufacturer, allowing TWR to use their resources for their campaign. As such, Porsche’s 3.0 L Flat-6 engine is used, giving it a power figure of 540 hp (402.7 kW). Though the regulation changes in 1995 resulted in the car not seeing its racing debut, Joest Racing decided to have not just one but two WSC-95s built with Porsche’s blessing, and it gave them two overall 24 Hours of Le Mans wins in 1996 and 1997.
3 liveries are available for this car, with 7 placeholder liveries of all sorts available as well:
– #7 Joest Racing (1996 24 Hours of Le Mans / LMP class)
– #8 Joest Racing (1996 24 Hours of Le Mans / LMP class)
– #7 Joest Racing (1997 24 Hours of Le Mans / LMP class)
In addition, players can change the car’s color through the "custom colors" option.
