Description:

UPDATE: Added changes from The REAL Sinking Fix into this mod.
UPDATE 2: Made a Lite Version only containing bug fixes as requested

It is no secret that the naval aspect of vanilla Shogun 2 is not perfect, to say the least. Naval battles would typically just devolve into a mess where all of your ships end at half strength. Or you just use Nanban Trade Ships/Fire Arrow cheese for every battle, which is as interesting as watching paint dry. Because of this, i decided to change the following (Does not affect FOTS unless specifically mentioned otherwise):

– Made Ships properly sinkable (Test this with a Nanban Trade Ship vs. some Medium Bunes)
– Enabled Nanban Trade Ships and Red Seal Ships in Custom Battle
– Reduced effectiveness of Fire Arrows. You can still set ships on fire, but no longer will a single Bow Kobaya be able the cheese an entire fleet
– The Mori now have actually superior sailors (reflected in the stats of the ships)
– Fixed the bug which prevented the Mori from recruiting Medium Bunes from Harbours
– Fixed the bugged Mori Clan trait
– Fixed the bugged Movement Range on some Mori ships
– Rebalanced the entire naval roster so that different ships can fullfill different roles in battle
– Made Naval Morale more punishing
– Improved controls for ships to make them more responsive
– Nerfed the AIs capabilities to spam navies (affects FOTS)
– Some other misc stuff that would take way to long to go over (e.g. did you know naval fire bombs dealt 0 damage? I am not kidding)

Overall this makes it so that you can handily beat whole fleets using decent tactics. Also, ships will now rout much easier, which means capturing ships in a healthy state is actually possible. Additionally, reducing the AIs naval spam makes it so you can actually use navies in campaign even if you are not playing as shimazu/otomo, making it so that wiping out an enemy fleet actually means something.

Requires a new campaign to work properly.

Most likely not compatible with anything that changes naval stuff for ROTS/Shogun 2.

Known Issues:
– The Display for the amount of sailors/marines on the unit card is bugged – however, the bars still display the correct amounts.Hovering over the ship in battle works just fine.
– Ship movement sometimes bugs out. Just hit Backspace/Cancel Order if that happens. This is just Total War pathfinding at its finest.
– Defensive Naval Battle AI is still bugged. Nothing i can do about that, sorry.
