Woody’s Physical Outfit Manager LEGACY [42.12.3]
Your wardrobe stores your clothes. Your character wears what’s in it. Simple.
Come home from freezing cold and immediately want to change? Sweating by the fireplace in full winter gear? Open any wardrobe, dresser, or crate – one button swaps everything.
The furniture itself IS your storage. Your bedroom dresser has different clothes than your garage crate. Each location stores different outfits naturally. Simple.
Inspired by Outfit Control by Yuki – check out their excellent mod for preset-based quick switching! This one takes a container-focused approach for players who prefer location-based storage. Both mods work together as complementary systems.
Some players prefer organizing by location:
- Find better gear? Just toss it in the container, it’s already part of your outfit
- Bedroom wardrobe = indoor comfort clothes
- Garage dresser = work gear and tools
- Basement crate = bloody clothes (quarantine zone!)
- Each location naturally stores what makes sense there
- Furniture becomes your organization system
- Wardrobes – wardrobe, armoire, closet, cupboard
- Dressers – dresser, drawer, cabinet, china cabinet, filing cabinet
- Crates/Lockers – crate, chest, trunk, locker, small chest
- Shelves/Counters – shelf, bookshelf, bookcase, counter
- One-Click Outfit Swap – context-aware button changes based on situation
- Smart Context – button text changes: Store Outfit / Wear Outfit / Switch Outfit
- Wear All – quickly wear all clothes from container
- Configurable Blacklist – keep important items on (shoes, bags, belt, custom items)
- Progressive Unequip – removes items piece by piece to avoid overweight issues
- Smart Filtering – only processes clothing and bags, ignores tools
- Button States – disabled when action unavailable for clear feedback
Configurable Blacklist System – keep essentials on during outfit swap:
- Keep Shoes On (no cuts!)
- Keep Bags On (don’t lose inventory!)
- Keep Belt On (holstered items stay)
- Keep Underwear On
- Keep Shirt/Pants On
- Keep Headgear On
- Custom Item Blacklist (Digital Watch, Wedding Ring, etc.)
Access via: Main Menu > Options > Mod Options > Woody’s Physical Outfit Manager
- All safety options enabled by default

Context-Aware Single Button:
- Open any supported furniture
- Button text changes based on situation:
– Store Outfit: Container empty, you’re wearing clothes
– Wear Outfit: Container has clothes, you’re naked/different outfit
– Switch Outfit: Both you and container have clothes – instant swap! - One click does everything – fast and intuitive
Wear All Button: Quickly wear everything in container (doesn’t remove current clothes, just adds from container)

This mod is part of my personal collection designed for immersive, challenging runs. The philosophy: keep it realistic, just less tedious. No cheats, no shortcuts – just removing repetitive tasks that don’t add difficulty, only annoyance.
