July 1830 saw the overthrowing of the Bourbon King by French Liberals and the establishing of the July Monarchy, although there was some resistance organised by the Italian Duchess Of Berry and some Radical Republicans in Paris. In August, the Belgian Revolution broke out with rioting in Brussels partly caused by a nationalistic opera. By September Belgium would declare independance as a new Kingdom.
