This mod rebalances Morale, Traits, and Workplace values so they truly mean something in the game again. There’s a slew of changes which I won’t list in depth until I see if this works OK. Needless to say you will need those related tech upgrades now if you want to have a successful colony. +10 Botanists was useless before? Not now!

There is one thing I haven’t quite sorted out and that’s the "stripped" pop up you’ll see when looking at colonist work performance. I added a new quirk called "balanced adults". What it does is drops work performance by 30 for everyone. So when you go to launch your colonists from Earth don’t use the blanet "no quirks at all" option or you’ll be freaked out when you see no one qualifies to travel.

This mod also changes plenty of values for health & sanity. You will need to carefully consider all those different spires, and if Haimamont does not rebalance these figures for the upcoming Opportunity patch, it will make this mod even more relevant.

Any issues, please post. I am testing at moderate difficulty levels right now to make sure things are do-able, but the values I changed are at the upper end of difficulty so if anything changes it will be in an easier trajectory.

Note: I’d suggest you grab Arkanakd’s Autogathertransport mod as I’m assuming if you’re viewing mods you’ve considered that one too. I increased metal costs for everything by 20% since his mod makes stray metals so easy to grab you rarely ever have to worry about them. Now you will.
