SOG Prairie Fire: Dance in the Delta [SP]
March, 1970. US Navy SEALs and South Vietnamese LDNN, ARVN, and RF-PF forces hunt for a specially-trained NVA maritime sapper unit operating in the Mekong Delta.

AUTHOR’S NOTES
- This is my seventh release for the S.O.G. Prairie Fire CDLC, returning to the theater to celebrate the release of lots of amazing content in the free Nickel Steel companion addon.
- As with all my SOG:PF scenarios, in order to survive and complete the mission, you will need to think like the operators you’re playing as and apply the tactics developed by Navy SEALs in Vietnam. Read the briefing, review the attachments, and keep an eye on your map. Maintain stealth as often as possible, strike hard with every weapon at your disposal, then vanish quickly before reinforcements can arrive to respond.

- This scenario and my editing hobby are inspired by accounts of real operations, in this particular case, the book SEALs UDT/SEAL Operations in Vietnam by T.L. Bosiljevac, as well as historical articles and research conducted online.
- This is a work of fiction, any resemblance to real people, units, or events is purely coincidental. Some elements in this scenario are entirely fabricated and are intended purely for entertainment purposes.

- This is a beta release, some bugs may exist. Also, it’s Arma, so there are bound to be things that will affect your playthrough. Reloading the mission can solve some issues. Please let me know if you run into any game-breaking bugs.

KNOWN ISSUES
- In some very rare cases, issues can happen with the APCs getting “Arma’ed” – I’ve tested this over a hundred times and it only happened once. Restart and the issue shouldn’t repeat itself unless you’re running additional addons.
- AI units may have issues with paths and the Cam Lao Nam terrain, they are prone to getting stuck in dense areas, and may have issues navigating the custom compositions. If not running SOG AI, which has a teleport group feature, use Switch Unit to select the stuck unit and move them to a safe place.
- Helicopter and boat airlift sequences are subject to some randomness and influenced by factors like incoming fire from random patrols, and sometimes the boat may get misdropped or the helicopter may crash. Restart or revert and this should not repeat. Use of other addons may also affect behavior.
- STAB boats, and watercraft in Arma 3 in general, are prone to running aground. The waterways of the Mekong are narrow and hazardous. There are warnings for mines and shallows. Pay attention to the hints or be prepared to revert.
- Your primary targets may move to flee when you are nearby and can get stuck inside the terrain or objects, this is an engine bug and may result in some mission-breaking issues. Apologies for any inconvenience, you should be able to get by this if you revert and try a different tactical approach.
