Following the end of the Locust War, Marcus married Lt. Anya Stroud and relocated to the Stroud Estate. The COG reformed under his wife’s leadership as First Minister. In 20 A.E., Anya gave birth to their son James Dominic. Anya died in 27 A.E. due to complications in her second pregnancy. Within the following twenty-five years after the Locust War, the crystallized Locust reemerged as Scions and created the Swarm to renew their war against humanity. Marcus reenlisted in the COG Army and led Delta-One, once again. After discovering JD’s friend, Kait Diaz, was the granddaughter to Queen Myrrah, Marcus assisted her in severing her link to the Hivemind, at the cost of her mother Reyna becoming the new Queen. Marcus continues to lead Delta in the fight against the Swarm.
