Description:

Complete overhaul mod for Songs of Syx, Elohi is an immersive anti-fantasy setting where man is set to repeat the same cycle of violence and progress, but this time they are not so alone. Select one of several unique races and ethnic groups of human and dagavirm before advancing your city or burrow into the future.

Current Update is V70

What does this mod change?

The most major changes that will effect your playthrough will probably be Flour, Salt, and Vegetables. To make bread now you will need to first grind Grain into Flour into Bread. Additionally Vegetables have been broken into Roots and Starches, some areas being more fertile for deeper nutrient-absorbing Roots while other areas’ climates and terrain offer better bonuses to the Leafy Starch-based veggies. Salt is another major addition to the resource pool, you can find Salt rocks near the shores and around some caves- it’s a great way to help preserve food as well as using Honey to make Pemmican and Hardtack in mass for your troops. Speaking of which, major rebalances to combat have been made to base-game equipment and racial stats, with Swords, Hammers, Sabers, and Spears now doing more damage in their particular field- with armor having better counters to their types of damage.

What does this mod add?

Beyond the main races, Songs of Elohi includes more building options for Roadways and a new Brick building material (using Clay). New weapons, armor, and mounts, including the Arquebus (or Flickerhollow), Longbow, Crossbow, Chainmail Armor, Scale Armor, Plank Shield, Heater Shield, Round Shield, Tower Shield, War-Rams, War-Moose, and War-Beetles. Additionally, several plants and foods have been added like Rice, Honey, Salt, Cheese, Butter, Pastries, and stews, with much more to come.

Are Dagavirm just big Rats?

Technically they’re related to field mice.

What’s that hidden non-playable race?

Don’t worry about it.

Are the Cragyak Humans?

Technically yes, the Cragyak are ‘human’ in the most literal sense of the word, however this is hotly debated by scholars and most do not consider them to be anything more than freaks of nature, lower than beasts.
