Right now the story is like this (Spoilers?)
– Hotel: The staircase that was connected to the "lobby" had exploded and there was no way upstairs, and the people in there couldnt go outside either. so they had to live there for as long as the supplies lasted, but then one of them got infected and then everyone else started to get infected aswell. but there was one last standing, he closed the door to the lobby and waited at the staircase until he died. The survivors are the ones who were at the top floors while the staircase exploded and now they just had to go.
– Town: Evacuation had started, but there was too many. They had to put fences so that they could make people form a line. While they were evacuating one by one people started to get infected so the crew had to go to the saferoom by theirselves, but there were still some uninfected people outside still waiting. Once they realized that the evac crew had gone to the saferooms they got mad and burnt the place.
– Sewage: Since the saferoom got burnt it wasnt usable anymore, they had to find another way. They had to go into the sewage to find an exit, but they just simply started to live there. Of course the infection had come to there too.
– Gasstation: Only was out of the sewage, Only way out of that hell.
