Faction Upgrade is my series of mods aimed at improving the various factions of the Kenshi world. The mod will affect the following things:
1. Weapons and armor
2. Cities and bases
3. Units
4. Dialogs
5. Starts
The Faction Upgrade (Rebel Farmers) mod aims to improve the faction of the same name.
Changes:
Town
Fort Simion has undergone significant changes. There is more life in it, and now it looks like the center of a guerrilla struggle. In it you will find blacksmiths, a shop, small fields for growing wheat, as well as several buildings that you can buy out and settle in them.
Now Fort Simion will be transferred to Yabuta only after Simion’s death.
If Tengu is dead, Yabuta is in prison, and Simion has moved to the Trader’s Edge, the fort will not fall into disrepair, it will be under the command of Rebel Swordsmen. If Simion also dies, the fort will collapse.
If Tengu and Master Wada are dead and Simion is alive, the Old Village (slightly redone) will pass to the Imperial Villagers. A small barracks of warriors and a bar will appear in the forest.
The Tengu Vault, the main dungeon of the Empire, will fall to the wrath of the farmers. If Simion is alive and Tengu and Lord Yoshinaga are dead, the Rebel Swordsmen will occupy the Vault. They will free Esfer and Lukin, whom you can hire for money to join the squad. Yabuta and other criminal scum will remain in prison, and several noble hunters will be sitting in the next cage.
Ravaged villages in the Bast can go to four factions, depending on the situation. They have been slightly modified.
If Tengu is alive and Inquisitor Valtena and Lord Phoenix are not, the settlements will be occupied by slave owners who will force slaves to work in the cactus fields. You can buy slaves from them.
If Lord Phoenix is alive and Tengu and Lord Inaba are not, the settlements will go to the Holy Nation. You can buy agricultural products and oxen from them.
If Phoenix, Valten, Tengu, and Inaba are dead, and Simion is alive, the Rebellious Swordsmen will occupy the settlements, where farmers will open shops.
If Phoenix, Valten, Tengu, Inaba, Simion and Robun are dead, cannibals will occupy the settlements.
Squads
A leader (a Heavy Rebel) has been added to each group of rebel farmers.
All the rebels received first-aid kits. The Rebel Swordsmen’s Barracks have been reinforced with additional warriors.
In rare cases, rebel Captains may have a crossbow or a captured tanegashima.
Starts
Added a start for a hungry, broke farmer who wandered into Fort Simion. It’s up to you to join the Rebels or leave.
Weapons and Armor.
I want to say right away that this mod is essentially a direct continuation of the FU (United City) mod.
I thought it would be appropriate to add the captured armor and weapons of the Empire they are fighting to the rebels with combat experience (rebel swordsmen, rebel captains, etc.). Therefore, they will use random samurai armor and ashigaru, which will make them more serious opponents.
I specifically did not link to the main mod, for ease of placement, however, all the drawings and trade sheets of merchants are located only in FU (United City).
Therefore, it is possible to use the mod separately, but logically it does not make much sense.
