Description:
Introduction

Minor Adjustments is a mod that contains a collection of small tweaks and historically plausible alterations. These changes are meant to encourage more engaging gameplay for minor nations.

Mechanical Changes

– The Invite Settlers country interaction now operates on a percentage-based modifier of 0.04% per month instead of inviting a static 10 peasants per month. More populous nations can now send significantly more settlers per month as a result.
– Reforming your government into a Republic now only requires 75 plutocracy instead of 95, so that it is less reliant on RNG events.

Alternate Plausible History

– Three locations in Polynesia have had their R.G.Os changed to potatoes to reflect the Pre-Columbian exchange of sweet potatoes, either through trade or through seeds drifting on ocean currents. Otakou, Waitangi, and Taenga Atoll.
– A few dozen descendants of the survivors of the failed Vinland colony exist as an unlanded people in Newfoundland, along with their culture, religion, and knowledge of feudalism.

Realistic Map Alterations

– The following locations have had their R.G.Os changed to tin to correspond with real-life shallow tin deposits. This should resolve some issues with tin availability for minor nations.
America: Catawba, Moffat.
Australia: Peerapper, Yoberrore.

Market Alterations

– Two markets have been created to resolve the poor starting conditions for Central Africa and Madagascar.
