It does look similar, but is more or less a complete rebuild to fit all the new parts.
It has more shield and a tool turret, while sacrificing some mobility and being 2 Blocks longer. It still fits into larger internal hangars, width and height haven’t changed.
The cockpit has been redesigned to a sloped window. Mainly for looks, but also to give an easier time to get into the thing if in gravity. You now only need to be able to jet pack up one block, to get onto the window.
Stock it is set up with the tool turret in front of the gatling turret, which severely limits the firing arc of the gatling turret. You can choose to change those around, which will improve defensive, but obviously makes salvaging harder.
